Our Journey

C&W Electric was established in January 2023 by owner Chris Fortner after apprenticing for several years under his family’s business B&R Electric (established in 2000). Our electricians have over 40 years combined experience, are licensed and insured for residential and commercial construction, and Chris being a master electrician has no restrictions on amperage. We are members of the Bartow County Chamber of Commerce and are as well Generac certified.

We are hoping to expand our business this year and are interested in working with additional builders. We are based out of Bartow County, but permit for several other counties including Cherokee, Cobb, Forsyth, Fulton, Gilmer, Milton, and Pickens. Residential Wiring

C&W Electric is your trusted partner from the initial process of bidding estimates, to the electrical walkthrough, rough in, and trim out stages. We service spaces from 1,500 sq. ft. - 13,000 sq. ft. and offer installations for custom and spec homes, apartment and condominium complexes, as well as remodels and additions. We also offer installation on other property additions such as gates, fountains, garages, luxury barns, and outdoor lighting.

Commercial Wiring

We offers several different installation options for new construction on larger buildings with higher power demands. Key examples include conduit wiring, armored cable, and various specialized cables for data and safety systems. Types of commercial installations C&W Electric completed recently are commercial buildings/offices, gymnasiums, warehouses, and storage units.

Additional Services

Our team offers additional services such as electrical panel upgrades, EV (electric vehicle) charger installation, meter base and service disconnect installation, as well as that of whole home generators. We are Generac certified and offer quarterly maintenance plans on certain services.

Support Services

C&W Electric offers maintenance and repair for electrical services involving troubleshooting and fixing electrical problems and identifying and repairing damaged or improperly installed wiring. We also assists in repairing or replacing malfunctioning circuit breakers and fixing or replacing damaged or non-functional outlets, switches, and light fixtures.

C&W Electric is a member of the Bartow County Chamber of Commerce and are as well Generac certified. We have been family owned and operated for 25 years (since 2000) and offer competitive pricing to successfully obtain bids. C&W pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and in completing tasks when promised.

Yes, C&W is looking forward to growing our business this year and are happily accepting new builders/business. We can take on 1-2 new projects (example: roughs being started for homes) weekly and depending on the project, 3-5 electrical maintenance/services and repair jobs. We currently have 3 permanent team members but have access to 3 additional subcontractors for larger jobs when needed.
